Biographical history
The University of Calgary History collection is the result of work carried out by various researchers on the history of the university. This includes research done by Harry Sanders under the direction of Donald Smith, Department of History and funded by a Special Projects grant; and research conducted by Robert Bott for the 25th Anniversary Visions book.

Scope and content
Consists of history of the university from 1916 to 1966 by Sanders and Smith, clippings and photocopies of research material, 1909-1990, Bott's research material, and Smith's slides on the university's origins. Includes recorded interviews with Grant MacEwan (1987); and Mrs. A.L. Doucette, Frank Doucette, Lou Goodwin, W.H. Swift, and Mary Dover (1988).
