General note
Consists of the diary of Lina Beavers, who moved to Calgary, Alberta with her husband Roy in October of 1911. Her entries describe the tasks of moving and setting up house, her housekeeping and social life, Roy's establishment of the Club Cafe, their amusements together (theatre, card playing, walks), and the significance of the number eleven to the couple. The diary itself is a "Physician's Daily Memorandum" book, featuring descriptions of medical conditions and treatments at the top of each page.
