Consists of letters to his family in Ireland about his trip to the West, the signing of Treaty 7, life at Our Lady of Peace Mission, the activities and character of Father Constantine Scollen (his brother), his marriage to Margret Ward (a Metis woman), and his farm near Calgary. Some of the letters are incomplete.
