Administrative history

The Community of Coordinating Organizations (C.O.C.O.), was formed in 1970, to stream-line the process of overseeing a small community and its numerous organizations. All local executives such as the Board of Trade, the Hall board and sports clubs were disbanded and represented by one committee, to which 16 other groups with community branches of provincial or national organizations sent representatives. The members shared a combined budget, one facility, (C.O.C.O. Hall) and the work of running the organization. They organized community events, the largest of which was the annual Wanham Plowing Match which became their major fundraising event.

Custodial history

Records were donated by Wally Tansem, one of the founding members of C.O.C.O.
