Biographical history

The Calgary Canucks Rugby Club was formed ca. 1914 but disbanded in 1915 because most of the team enlisted to fight in the war. It was reorganized for the 1919 season as part of the Alberta Rugby Football Union which also included the Calgary Tigers, Edmonton Eskimos and University of Alberta teams.

Records are owned by the Glenbow but are made available by the Glenbow Western Research Centre, University of Calgary.

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, receipts and newsclippings.
